Tuesday, February 10 at 7 p.m. at the Barley House – A discussion of The Last Policeman, hosted by Ralph Jimenez and Tom Fredenburg.

Media Panel Discussion
Tuesday, February 17 at 7 p.m. in the Library’s Auditorium – With six months to go before the asteroid crashes to earth, how would the local media prepare and report on impending doom. Concord Monitor editor Steve Leone and photographer Geoff Forester, Ernesto Burden, Vice President, Digital for Newspapers of New England, and Brady Carlson, N.H. Public Radio host, talk about what they would do to report on the end of the world.

Brown Bag Book Discussion

Wednesday, February 25 from noon to 2 p.m. in the Library’s lower lounge – Join CPL’s director, Todd Fabian, during your lunch hour to discuss this year’s Concord Reads selection, The Last Policeman. Bring a brown bag lunch and we’ll provide hot beverages. Drop in anytime.

Wednesday, March 4 from 7 to 8:30 a.m. at The Corner View- Meet at Hank Palace’s favorite breakfast place, The Corner View, for a before work discussion of The Last Policeman with Byron Champlin and Deb Baker. This event is BYOB (buy your own breakfast) and is presented in partnership with Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce & Concord Young Professionals Network.
